Everyday proverbs from the Bible!

-My son,be attentive to my wisdom;incline your ear to my understanding, that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge. For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey, and the speech is smoother than oil,but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edge sword.

-Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife(dispute).

-A rebuke goes deeper into a man with understanding than a hundred blows into a fool.

-A man of crooked heart does not discover good, and one with a dishonest tongue falls into calamity.

-Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool.

-Many are the plans in the mind of a man,but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

-If your enemy is hungry ,give him bread to eat,and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

-Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.Let another praise you, and not your own mouth;a stranger and not your own lips.

-A stone is heavy, and sand is weighty, but a fool's provocation is heavier than both.

-Better is open rebuke than hidden love.

-Blessed is the one who fears the Lord always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity.

-Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people.A ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor, but he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.

-Every word of God proves true;he is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
